Algorithms tell us to focus on more. More likes. More followers. More impressions. We keep chasing clicks and engagement but we often forget that “movements are born of critical connections rather than critical mass.” (Grace Lee Boggs).
We’re told to focus on critical mass. But our hearts and minds are craving critical connections.
Can we use the idea of critical connections to catalyze our work and the people around us? Can we connect more deeply with ourselves, each other, and the earth we stand on?
Can we create movements and build communities by embracing smaller, yet deeper circles?
Maybe more isn’t better. Maybe deeper is better.
