The Future of Coglode is Impact

Our new £100m goal for Behavioural Science

I’m incredibly proud of what Coglode has contributed to the world of behavioural science over the past decade.

Our mission has always been the same:


This is unfolding in three compounding ecosystem phases:

1. The Language (2015–)


Our first step 10 years ago was to create Nuggets—a shared language for behavioural science that did three things well:

1. Distillation
We turned complex research into understandable bite-sized insights, designed to help teams see the world through a behavioural lens.


2. Application
Each Nugget was full of visual, real-world examples, showing how behavioural science could move from theory into a practical toolbox.


3. Connection
We revealed how insights relate to each other - helping teams build systemic understanding, not just one-sided interventions.

This evolving language has helped thousands of teams collaborate more clearly and solve problems through a new behavioural lens.

2. The Framework (2020–)


The second phase was the creation of the DO-IT Framework to help teams apply the language to their problem.

Taught in our Foundations training, DO-IT helps you:

• Define - the emotional and behavioural outcomes you’re aiming for
• Overcome - the behavioural barriers in the way
• Ideate - creative solutions using Nuggets as fuel
• Test - validate ideas scientifically to increase success

It’s clear, practical, and has helped countless teams turn insight into action without getting overwhelmed.

3. Impact (2025–)


Now we begin the third phase...

...and it's based on a hard truth:

Nobody cares about behavioural science itself.
They care about its impact.

So, we’re launching Coglode Impact.

It'll show how Behavioural Science ROI is possible when you combine a coherent language, framework, and mindset.


The examples will come from across various industries and, though covering a range of metrics, will be predominantly financial.


We'll show you how Behavioural Science was used to overcome and solve a key problem, show Before and After states and, most importantly, highlight the impact.


We'll also walk you through the example with our DO-IT Impact Canvas to show you how the problem was solved.

A Bold Goal

To guide this new chapter, we’re setting a bold challenge:

Showcase £100m of behavioural impact over the next decade.

It’s ambitious and will only be possible in close collaboration with our partners, tracking outcomes to scale what works.
